Sniped V2 Elite is fun first person shooter that is worth checking out. Honestly I did not play it much but mission were very interesting, and the combat is a lot of fun. This game even has a difficulty level that even makes the player to have to accommodate for the wind. Distance also effects the shot. The game looks beautiful.

I used to play a bit of Call of duty I was never was way into but enjoyed it. One of my computer friends talked me into playing Battlefield 3. I made the right decision by giving it a chance. Overall I actually like it a bit more then Call of duty. But they are both first person shooter and both can play multiplier with a decent amount of other players.

Tera was my first MMO in my mind because i did not play Star Wars the Old Republic long. An MMO is a massive multiplayer online game. Tera was made to have a very bright a in your face world. There was one zone that the trees where white and pink, bright pink. I never finished leveling all the way up in Tera because most of the people I play with got bored but i was close. I look forward to this going Free to play because I will play it more. I really enjoyed it and thought it was a pretty envirnment. At this point I would advise you to wait till it is free to play before trying unless you have a group of friends to make it worth paying monthly for.

Assassin's Creed 3 released on October 30, 2012. I love the Assassin's Creed games so I have been patiently waiting for this to release but i ended up getting it on the 31st. Two nights of playing on an hour on the third day was all it took to finish the main story quest line. I don't wanna give any details about the game away but the story was very interesting and even had a few incredibly unexpected events in the story. Overall the game play feels about like the rest. Graphically the game is beautiful and definitely worth trying.

WarZ is a game that was recently released in alpha state for anyone that buys the game. Thanks to this players can play the game early and help prefect the game. WarZ plays a lot like DayZ but this is actually a game instead of a mod for a game. Some of the issues in drop rates, zombies amount of life, and the map size it is too small so player on player kills are high which can make the game a little frustrating. Unlike DayZ, WarZ has a normal first person shooter feel to it instead of the strong feeling of simulator in DayZ. WarZ has a lot of promise but it is still in alpha for now.

Skyrim is a game series called The Elder Scrolls which was developed by Bethesda Game Studios. The game is in first person and the story is somewhat player based. Decisions you make can alter the quest you get sent on. There are quite a few races to choose from and you can choose skills that will greatly effect what you can do. I personally never finished the game but overall it is beautiful and a lot of fun. Through steam which is a program to save games in a library but there are also add-ons that you can only get on pc through steam workshop. There are all sorts of stuff for example one gives you an added house with is very useful to store your belongs safely.

DayZ is a mod for a game called ARMA 2. Combined operations is needed to run DayZ. ARMA 2 is basically an army simulator It is nothing like Call of Duty, because it is much more realistic. DayZ turns the map into a world full of zombies. The game is online with many random other people most servers hold tops of forty people or so. When you first log in you spawn at random on the map with hardly any supplies and no weapon. From there you will need to sneak your way through a city to find loot without the zombies finishing you off. The loot could be food, weapons, a map or any useful supplies, sometimes you will get really unlucky and find nothing. Yes you will have to eat and drink to survive, maybe even receive a blood transfusion Other players usually account for most of the player kills though, but if a player kills enough they will have a bandit skin which obviously makes them look different. Unlike most other games when you die you lose everything and have to start over completely from scratch. This game is quite fun but it is good to meet up with a group of friends for safer travel.

Minecraft has been playable on a PC for quite some time but recently the game made its way to phones and Xbox 360. The name of the game essentially says it all, you mine to get supplies and them craft stuff out of the supplies. Everything in the game is cubes, which makes building things that are circular a challenge. While playing the game you can either join online severs with other people or create you own world. The created world is a flat surface that randomly generates as players walk further from the spawn location. Within the world of Minecraft there are many monsters that will come out at night if you are not in peaceful mode. Probably the most known of these monsters are creepers which will explode if they get close enough to a player. If you are lazy you can play creative mode instead of survival in which there is no need to collect materials you already have unlimited everything. Overall Minecraft is cheap compared to other games and is worth every penny. Many of times I have went back to playing after getting bored with other games.

Guild Wars two released August 28, 2012. Anyone that bought the game pre-release got to play in a three day head start. Guild wars two is a massive multiplayer online game that is also free to play. Which is a big deal for a computer game because most that are online with others you have to play a fifteen dollar monthly fee. Graphically it is a beautiful game and runs smooth. My main character is maxed out level-wise, but I have not finished the main story but so far it has been very interesting. Their are some bugs here and there but Areanet seems to be trying to keep up with fixing them. I never played the first one so I'm not sure if the story picks up where it left off or not. There are five very different races to choose from and eight different professions. Overall the game is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy meeting new people and massive multiplayer online.

Hello I'm Josh O'Neill. After going over my girlfriend's house and watching her brother play games on his computer, I was intrigued to move up from simple gaming consoles to a computer that was built for games. So in February of 2012 I met up with him and got him to pick out all the parts I needed and signed at the bottom. By the time all of my parts showed up, I was about to die and of course I had class that day so I had to wait until after class for him and I to both have time to put it together. Everything has been down hill from there. I'm completely in love with games on my computer. I have a PS3 and a XBOX 360, and I have not bought a new game for either one since I bought the computer. On this blog I plan to give my opinion of games I have personally played. This is my first stab at something like this so fingers crossed.
